The Galway Food Festival is back for a second year and we are proud to be involved with such a wonderful event. Our Tasting were so popular last year that we have decided to add a third tasting on the Thursday evening and as much as we’d love to do something on Friday evening it is Good Friday, our only Friday off all year! This years tastings include Australia: The Next Chapterr, where we will display Australia’s wonderful array of Aussie wines and prove that they have certainly moved on from Blockbuster Shiraz and Oaky Chardonnay. See what the latest trends in this wonderful wine-producing country and a few treats as to whats on the Horizon. Our second tasting is Italy: Tip to Toe, Italy is a very unique nation when it comes to wine with over grape varieties planted. Wine is produced in all 20 regions of this country from Piedmont in the North West to Puglia in the South West, we endeavour to take you on a Journey through some of Italy’s best and most interesting wines. And finally our hugely popular tasting from last year is back with an even more Irish Twist. We will be matching a selection of Artisan Irish Chocolates with wines on Easter Sunday. Last years favourite was our White Chocolate and wine combo, so this is an event not to be missed.
